To bring awareness about the site’s availability to the public specifically for black audiences who may not know the site’s related history with one of the oldest african American communities in America. Visitors have described the area as being unkept and run down in comparison to previous years despite the availability of trash cans and other public conveniences. A simple fix is to encourage the individual responsibility to treat the space with respect for preserving the natural environment.
