I am dancing because of concerns about what runs off into the ponds and lakes of this region, such road salt and excessive nutrients which can harm the ecosystem. I am also concerned that climate change is causing the lakes and rivers to freeze later and later each year, which impacts the local economy. Warming waters are more susceptible to cyonaobacteria outbreaks. With more development in the area, it will be more challenging to “Keep Winni Blue.”
