Project Overview
Katie Brennan creates a site-responsive work in Kansas City, MO on the ancestral land of the Missouri River. The project explores the relationship between movement, place and the living river.
Water Issues
The piece responds to recent development near the site and advocates for the larger need of floodplains to give the river its fullest life, foregrounding ecological resilience and the role of landscape in sustaining waterways.
