Do you hear the sirens calling? Please don’t be afraid
Can drowning also feel like not drowning?
How much water can one swallow and stay alive?
Tides closing in quick
And you In your element
Such magnificence
Does that give me comfort or not?
I decide it doesn’t matter
I’m struck now by the cruelty In this collecting of beauty
Didn’t consider that these beautiful artifacts were homes
I think it’s time to go
