National Water Dance (NWD) is set to celebrate Earth Day on April 20, 2024, at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center in Crandon Park, Key Biscayne.

This event, themed “Moving Forward Together,” unites dancers, musicians, and artists nationwide to raise environmental awareness through synchronized performances.
The Miami celebration will feature performances by local dance companies, including NWD Projects, Dance Now! Miami, Olujimi Dance Collective, Karen Peterson & Dancers, and Jubilation Dance Ensemble. Attendees can also participate in eco-friendly activities such as a beach clean-up organized by Debris Free Oceans and enjoy a sunset happy hour in the coral courtyard.
The event schedule is as follows:
- 3:00 PM: Dream In Green’s Eco-Summit and pre-show activities
- 4:00 PM: National Water Dance performance
- 5:00 PM: Beach clean-up
- 6:00 PM: Sunset happy hour
- Participants are encouraged to wear protective clothing and bring sunscreen to fully enjoy the outdoor experience.
