Patton White – Atlanta, GA
A Brief History of The Grand Canyon
Patton wrote this poem in the zoom workshop that you led. He was so moved by your influence. I couldn’t find the ones to choose. This one is totally up to you!
A poem by D. Patton White
She was still
And knew that She was
She felt the heat of the sun
And She perspired, a Glow
She heard the rhythm of
Deep rumbling at her Center
And felt the tears that
Seeped from where She saw
She knew that She was
From deep within and as
Far away as imaginable
She laughed, a babbling brook
Jostled across smooth stones
She drew the line at myst
And insisted on a farewell shower
And She slept again
Secure in her stillness
