About the Project

Bethany Logan Lofton of Wild She Dances leads a movement-rooted gathering in Galveston, TX, honoring the land and the waters that shape the state. The event is sited on the ancestral land of Galveston Beach.

Why It Matters

This initiative brings people from across Texas together to honor the land and water that surround the state and to come together as a movement collective to honor the earth with our bodies during a time of widespread unrest.
