Participating in National Water Dance

With social media, everyone can dance with us—from your living rooms, balconies and backyards on April 18th at 4PM EST! Begin and end your dance with a shared movement phrase that connects us all, despite our physical distance from one another.

Participating is as simple as following the 4 simple steps below, let’s link together in this time of separation through simultaneous dance.

  1. @ us on social (IG and FB) and let us know you’re going to dance with us so we can follow you! IG:@nationalwater_dance; FB:
  2. Compose your dance! Include our shared movement phrase for the beginning and end (having a shared set of movements at the beginning and end of the dance, symbolically links all dancers together). Here are details on choreographing your dance, including video of the movement phrases to incorporate.
  3. Go live on your social media account along with thousands of other dancers on April 18th at 4PM EST!
