Granite City Park, Hallowell, ME – The Spiral Dance Collective

Celebrating the role that the people of Maine had in the Clean Water Act and the resulting improvements to the water quality of the Kennebec River within one generation; Acknowledging that the scenic Vaughn Stream that feeds into the river was added to the DEP’s threatened streams list in 2020 for nonpoint source pollution; Honoring the shifting boundaries of the river; Exploring how our bodies are not separate from the river body.
